Description Our PP1744 DFV aux drive belt is manufactured for Cosworth by renowned belt experts Gates Powertain in their factory in Scotland. The most common application for this belt is on the Cosworth DFV engine, mounted inside the triangular front cover. In this iconic engine, this belt is driven from a pulley connected to the second compound gear running at half engine speed. The DFV aux drive belt then drives both the left and right hand auxiliaries, turning the oil pump, fuel pump, scavenge pumps and water pumps.
